Dog breeds that weren’t meant for your home

Domesticated dogs were created from a now-extinct wolf breed thousands of years ago. Since then, a variety of dog breeds have been created through natural means and through some very careful breeding. That means that some dogs were bred to be docile canine companions, while others were created to be working animals. A lot of people don’t think about the origins of their dog’s breed which means you may end up with a dog that’s not suited to living in your home.

These dog breeds with a good training routine and love can be wonderful, helping, and kind pets. But in the hands of the wrong owner or without the proper training, these dogs can be dangerous.

1. Chow Chow

The Chow Chow originally came from China and is one of the oldest dog breeds that we know of. They are known for their dark tongues and fluffy coats and usually come in a reddish color. It’s known as one of the most aggressive breeds that people keep as pets in their homes.

Chow Chows are incredibly protective of their owners and their territory and will show aggression to outsiders. This makes them difficult to keep at home, especially if you have a lot of visitors. They typically don’t warm up to strangers easily and can be dangerous to keep with other dogs.
